Nolan Kelly of the North Okanagan Knights is this week’s Young Guns, presented by the Next Shift Network, as he scored a goal and added four assists in two games.
Knights Head Coach-GM Liam McOnie says that Kelly does a very good job of taking advantage of the opportunities he gets and has a very good shot.
“It came down to him getting the puck through a pretty heavy, relentless forecheck,” said McOnie. “He did a good job of being aggressive and pursuing the puck, leading to him having it and ultimately making skilled plays.”
Kelly had 20 goals and 34 points in 38 regular season games. He has 19 points in eight Teck Cup playoff games.
