Tiebreaking Criteria:
- For the purpose of determining playoff seeding when two or more teams have an equal number of points, the following criteria shall be used until the tie is broken:
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater number of games won in regulation time;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater number of games won in regulation time and overtime;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater number of games won in any manner;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater number of points earned in games against each other among two or more tied clubs;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater differential between goals for and against (including goals scored in overtime or awarded for prevailing in shootouts) for the entire regular season;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the greater number of goals scored (including goals scored in overtime or awarded for prevailing in shootouts) for the entire regular season;
- The higher seeded team shall be the one with the fewer number of minutes in penalties assessed for the entire regular season.
