Bryton Morrow of the Princeton Posse is this week’s Young Guns, presented by the Next Shift Network, as he scored three goals and collected six assists in three games.
Posse head coach-GM Mark Readman said that the 6-5,190-pound Morrow is getting stronger and possesses a unique skill set.
“He works so hard on his flash and dash skill – slick hands and the ability to make a defender miss. He’s really worked hard on getting a little bit tougher and winning one-on-one battles and creating more turnovers for his group,” said Readman. “He’s cashing in on some really good opportunities. He has been moving the puck pretty efficiently and helping set up teammates.”
Morrow, 18, has 40 points in 35 games, which ranks him fourth on the Posse and eighth among all KIJHL rookies. He also has four game-winning goals.
