Storm alum Ludvig scores first NHL goal with Penguins

Kamloops Storm alum John Ludvig scored his first NHL goal on Wednesday, February 14 in a 5-2 loss against the Florida Panthers.

Ludvig scored his first NHL goal, cutting it to 5-2 at 6:07 on a wrist shot from the right circle. The rookie defenceman was playing his 21st NHL game.

Ludvig has two points to go with 23 penalty minutes, while averaging 11:42 of ice time a game. On Thursday against Chicago, Ludvig registered a shot and had 16 shifts in 13:08 of playing time.
