Nelson Leafs goalie Dylan Marshall has signed to play for the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2022-23.
In his lone season in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the Saskatoon product won 15 of his 20 regular season games with a .930 save percentage and a 1.67 goals against average. During the Teck Cup playoffs, Marshall won six games with a .904 SP and a 2.19 GAA, helping the Leafs play for the Teck Cup.
“I’m very grateful to Melville for the opportunity and excited to be a Millionaire,” said Marshall. “The Nelson Leafs helped propel me to the next level by giving me the opportunity to play in the KIJHL. Thank you to the Leafs organization and everyone else who helped me out along the way.”
Leafs Head Coach & GM Adam DiBella said Marshall is very deserving of this opportunity.
“Dylan has worked very hard and we are happy for him,” he said.
