The Sicamous Eagles Junior A Hockey Club are hiring for the positions of Head Coach and General Manager.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of hockey operations, including planning, strategic development, recruiting, hiring coach(es) within staffing, budget, evaluation and delivery of the hockey program. The General Manager will collaborate with the Head Coach during player recruiting and player trades. Note: The GM and Head Coach positions may be combined for the right candidate.
Reporting to the General Manager, the head coach will work to develop and maintain the hockey operations department, including planning, strategic development, coaching, recruiting, evaluation and delivery of the hockey program. The Head coach together with the General Manager will be expected to serve as an effective spokesperson for the team, promoting and enhancing the image of the team within the community.
The Eagles are also hiring for the positions of Front Office Administrator and Assistant Coach.
