In our next Kootenay International Junior Hockey League alum report, we highlight how some alumni are performing at the professional level with their respective teams. 

 

F- Derek Ryan (Spokane Braves) has two goals in 26 games for the Edmonton Oilers. Ryan scored his second of the season on Dec. 16 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

D- John Ludvig (Kamloops Storm) Ludvig has yet to play this season in the AHL for the Charlotte Checkers. Last season in Syracuse, in 13 games, he had two goals and eight points.

F- Jake Lucchini (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) has 10 goals and 19 points in 22 games for the Belleville Senators in the AHL.

F- Reid Perepeluk (Kamloops Storm) has two assists in 19 games for the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks. Perepeluk signed an AHL contract with the Stockton Heat during the offseason.

F- Diego Cuglietta (Kamloops Storm) has nine goals and 18 points in 16 games with the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

G- Kristian Stead (100 Mile House Wranglers) has five wins in nine games for the SPHL’s Knoxville Ice Bears. Stead has a .915 SP with a 2.38 GAA.

F- Shawn Campbell (Castlegar Rebels, Nelson Leafs) has eight goals and 12 points in 19 games for the ERSC Amberg in the Germany4 league.

D- Trevor Okino (Chase Heat) has a goal and five points in eight games with Sweden’s Ockelbo HC in Division 3.

F- Allan Pruss (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) has nine goals and 28 points in 12 games with Ockelbo HC in Division 3.

F- Michael Pruss (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) has four goals and 26 points in 12 games with Ockelbo HC in Division 3

F- Brian Lebler (Summerland Sting) has 17 goals and 29 points in 29 games with Black Wings LInz in the bet-at-home Ice Hockey League in Austria. Lebler has also represented Austria in Olympic Games Qualifiers and International play with five goals in five games. Lebler played in the Olympic Games in 2014.

F-Connor Jones (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) has three goals and 12 points in 16 games with the Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL. Connor was placed on injured reserve according to eliteprospects.com and is eligible to return on Christmas Day.

F- Kellen Jones (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) joined his brother Kellen with the Komets and has four goals and 15 points in 23 games.
