Earlier this month, Revelstoke Grizzlies alum Aaron Volpatti appeared on Donnie and Dhali The Team on Chek TV.
Volpatti, who played a full season for his hometown Grizzlies in 2002-03, spoke about his new book Fighter, and his journey after a devastating burn injury.

After producing 38 points in 57 games with the Grizzlies in parts of two seasons, the Revelstoke native moved onto the BCHL with the Vernon Vipers. After three seasons in the BCHL, he earned an NCAA scholarship with Brown University where he played for four seasons. Volpatti then became a pro beginning his career with the AHL Manitoba Moose, then earning a call up to the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks. He also played for and Washington Capitals.
