Coyotes alum Tuck gets AH Player of the Month

Osoyoos Coyotes alum Braeden Tucka graduate forward for  Sacred Heart University men’s ice hockey team has been named as Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month for October.

Through the season’s first month, Tuck is Atlantic Hockey’s leading scorer, with nine points on three goals and six assists. He also ranks inside the top five in the league in assists, assists per game (0.86), points per game (1.29) and plus/minus (+4). Tuck has done the vast majority of his damage in league games, as he has gone for 3-5-8 in just five games against Atlantic Hockey competition, which is good for the league lead in both points and assists.

Tuck recorded his 100th career point with a first-period assist in SHU’s 6-1 win over Army on Tuesday night. On the season, he has recorded nine shots on goal and four blocks. He has scored one power-play goal.
