ACHA’s Wolverines like versatility Rebels’ Mah brings

Kaidon Mah of the Castlegar Rebels has committed to play for the University of Flint-Michigan Wolverines in the American Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1 next fall.

We are very excited to add Kaidon Mah to our program. We look for his versatility to be a huge asset,” said Wolverines head coach Nick Karstens. “He’s a veteran presence that brings calmness on the blueline and an offensive mind. He will be a very versatile tool for us in the years to come.”

The Regina, Sask., native was second on the Rebels with 18 points in 37 games, after coming over in a trade from the Revelstoke Grizzlies where he played three games to start the season. Mah also had an assist in four KIJHL Championship playoff games.

The 6-0, 160-pound defenceman began his KIJHL career with the Grizzlies and played in 91 career regular season games with 34 points. Mah won a KIJHL Championship in his rookie season – 2023-24. In 26 career playoff games, Mah had six points.
