The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has announced the following game postponements:
Due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases, the following games involving the 100 Mile House Wranglers have been postponed:
- Friday, January 14th: 100 Mile House Wranglers at Kamloops Storm
- Saturday, January 15th: Sicamous Eagles at 100 Mile House Wranglers
- The Kamloops Storm will now host the Revelstoke Grizzlies on Friday, January 14th
Due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases, the following games involving the Princeton Posse have been postponed:
- Friday, January 14th: North Okanagan Knights at Princeton Posse
- Saturday, January 15th: Kelowna Chiefs at Princeton Posse
Due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases, the following games involving the Summerland Steam have been postponed:
- Friday, January 14th: Summerland Steam at Revelstoke Grizzlies
- Saturday, January 15th: Summerland Steam at Chase Heat
- The Chase Heat will now host the Sicamous Eagles on Saturday, January 15th
All games listed above will be rescheduled and played at a later date.
The KIJHL has also announced a number of rescheduled games following earlier postponements:
A pair of Beaver Valley home games have been rescheduled, as the Nitehawks will make up a postponed game against the Grand Forks Border Bruins on Tuesday, January 25th and another against the Golden Rockets on Sunday, January 30th.
The Chase Heat at Revelstoke Grizzlies game originally scheduled for Saturday, January 8th will now be played on Tuesday, January 25th, and the Summerland Steam at Princeton Posse game originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 11th will now be played on Sunday, January 23rd.
Three postponed games from this coming weekend have already been rescheduled, with 100 Mile House visiting the Kamloops Storm on January 26th. Meanwhile, North Okanagan will visit Princeton and Summerland will travel to Chase with both games taking place on Tuesday, February 1st.
