100 Mile House Wranglers alumnus Clay Stevenson (2016-17) earned his first NHL win with the Washington Capitals today in his second game with a 19-save performance in a 4-3 overtime win over the Carolina Hurricanes. Justin Sourdif scored the winner at 1:42 as the Capitals rallied from a three-goal, second-period deficit.

Stevenson has played the season in the AHL with the Hershey Bears, posting a record of 11-8-4 with a .912 save percentage and a 2.57 goals against average.

Stevenson made his NHL debut last April, losing 5-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
