UPDATE: The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has announced that the game scheduled between the Columbia Valley Rockies and Golden Rockets on December 31th in Columbia Valley has been postponed.
This game will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has announced that the game scheduled between the Creston Valley Thunder Cats and Golden Rockets on December 29th in Golden has been postponed.
The postponement comes as the result of a number of positive COVID-19 test results by members of the Rockets organization between December 22-24.
The individuals involved are experiencing mild symptoms and self-isolating. The timeline for their return to team activities will be determined as per Interior Health guidelines.
The December 29th game, which will be rescheduled for a later date, is the only game involving the Rockets that has been postponed at this time.
