Rockies’ Kim inks commitment with NCAA D3 Penmen

Bryan Kim of the Columbia Valley Rockies will play for the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen in NCAA Division III next fall.

Kim is fourth on the Rockies with 32 points in 32 games this season. Head coach-general manager Taylor Sincennes said Kim has come in and been a high energy player in his time with the Rockies.

Kim said his vision and ability to read plays has improved over last season.

“Being able to use my speed and IQ has helped me find success as well,” said Kim. “The coaches were able to help me and boost my confidence on the ice to improve and find success. The Columbia Valley Rockies allowed me to grow as a person and a player.”

Kim said he’s very excited to go to Southern New Hampshire University.

“I’d like to thank my family, friends, and coaches that were able to provide this opportunity for me,” he said.

“I’m very excited that he gets to continue his pursuit with hockey while getting an education,” said Sincennes.
