Regan commits to ACHA’s Bronchos

Cash Regan of the Kimberley Dynamiters has committed to the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.

Regan had 43 points in 43 games for the Dynamiters and added 20 points in 21 KIJHL Teck Cup playoff games helping his team win the league championship. Regan also contributed to the Dynamiters earning silver in the Cyclone Taylor Cup as he registered four assists in four games. Over three seasons, Regan played 85 games and had 37 goals and 56 assists for 93 points. He had 30 points in 37 career KIJHL Teck Cup playof games.

During the season Regan improved at shooting the puck more and “being the main driver of the play.”

“I got to the danger areas more and was willing to do whatever it took to score,” he said.

Dynamiters Head Coach-GM Derek Stuart said Regan grew immensely as a player and person since arriving in 2020.

“He was a major contributor to our championship this season and we are all excited to follow him at UCO,” said Stuart.

Regan added he is really excited to start this new chapter and is very thankful for everything Kimberley, including the organization, has done for him.

“The last two-and-a-half years have been an absolute blast and I’ve made friendships that I’ll have for a very long time. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to finish my junior career.”
