Prestige Hotels & Resorts named Official Hotel Partner

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League is proud to announce a continued sponsorship with Prestige Hotels and Resorts for the 2025-26 season. Prestige Hotels and Resorts is now the Official Hotel Partner of the KIJHL, and in addition, the KIJHL’s regular season championship trophy will be known as the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Cup.

“With many of our Prestige properties located throughout the Kootenays, Okanagan, Shuswap and Cariboo, we’re thrilled to come on board as the Official Hotel Partner of the KIJHL and offer meaningful benefits to players, families, and fans,” said Amy Nunn, VP of Sales & Marketing, Prestige Hotels & Resorts. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back and investing in the people and places that make these regions so special. We’re especially excited to extend our support through the introduction of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Cup, which will be awarded to the regular season champion, recognizing excellence, dedication, and the heart of junior hockey.”

Last season, Prestige Hotels and Resorts came onboard as a KIJHL sponsor by offering discounted rates to the league and its member clubs.

“The KIJHL is excited to continue and grow our relationship with Prestige Hotels & Resorts,” said Jeff Dubois, Commissioner of the KIJHL. “We’re appreciative of their commitment to supporting junior hockey communities and athletes, and look forward to seeing our clubs battle for the inaugural Prestige Hotels & Resorts Cup over the course of the 2025-26 regular season.”
