Bevis Chou is joining the Posse.
The Princeton Posse announced the addition of the 2001-born defenceman from the Summerland Steam to complete a 2018 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) deal between the clubs that saw long-time Posse forward Linden Gove head to Summerland.
Chou, who played last season for the Steam, will be joining the Posse in the coming days and is looked upon to make an immediate impact to the roster.
“Chou is an outstanding young player, we were surprised to have the opportunity to work with him at the Jr B level this year,” says Posse GM/head coach Mark McNaughton in a press relase. “He is a lightning quick player and has skills with the puck that will compliment our group this season.”
Look for Chou in the coming weeks as the Posse get the season rolling with three exhibition games prior to the KIJHL regular season that opens Sept. 13. In 38 career regular season games over two seasons with the Steam, Chou put up a goal and 13 points. In 10 playoff games last season, Chou had two goals and three points.
