The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has announced that a pair of games involving the Chase Heat have been postponed. The postponements come as the result of a number of positive COVID-19 test results by members of the Heat organization over the past 72 hours.
The following games have been postponed:
- Saturday, January 8th: Chase Heat at Revelstoke Grizzlies
- Sunday, January 9th: Chase Heat at Sicamous Eagles
The individuals involved are experiencing mild symptoms and self-isolating. The timeline for their return to team activities will be determined as per Interior Health guidelines.
These games will be rescheduled for a later date.
