Leafs hire Briar McNaney as interim head coach

The Nelson Leafs are pleased to announce the hiring of Briar Mcnaney as the new interim head coach.
McNaney comes to the Leafs with a solid coaching background. McNaney spent over six seasons with the Columbia Valley Rockies also spent time with the Kindersley Klippers of the SJHL.
McNaney’s time as head coach in Columbia Valley saw him lead his team to one of the best records in Rockies team history.
McNaney is considered a player’s coach who concentrates on player development, and he has great passion and knowledge of the game.
The Leafs are excited to welcome Briar and look forward to moving forward as we prepare to finish the regular season and enter the KIJHL Teck Cup playoffs with a renewed enthusiasm.
