KIJHL Power Rankings: Week 13

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League finished its 13th week. The KIJHL Power Rankings highlights the top-five teams based on winning percentage and here is how they rank.

 

Osoyoos Coyotes: (GP: 30 W: 23 L: 2 OTL: 2 SOL: 3) The Coyotes kept their top spot with two victories – 5-4 against the Summerland Steam and 4-3 in overtime against the North Okanagan Knights. Crae Dawson with his sixth of the season, and Tyler Badger, his second, scored the winning goals.

 

Kamloops Storm: (GP: 28 W: 21 L: 4 OTL: 2 SOL:1) The Storm kicked off 2022 with three straight wins – 4-3 against 100 Mile House, 4-2 against Sicamous and 3-2 against Princeton. Zakery Anderson with his (19), Jameson Rende (second) and Jayden Russell with this fifth, scored the winners. They maintain their position in the rankings.

 

Kimberley Dynamiters: (GP: 29 W: 20 L: 7 OTL: 0 SOL: 2) The Dynamiters climbed a spot to third with three straight wins to begin 2022. The Dynamiters defeated Golden twice on the road – 6-0 and 6-2; and doubled up Grand Forks 4-2 at home. Cash Regan with his (13th), and Christian Mealey, his 12th and 13th of the season, scored the winners.

 

Revelstoke Grizzlies: (GP: 27 W: 19 L: 7 OTL: 1 SOL: ) The Grizzlies dropped a spot in the rankings despite winning their two games. They shutout Sicamous 4-0 with Jozef Kuchaslo making 24 saves and defeated Princeton 3-2. Brandon Kasdorf, with his seventh, and Ronin Pusch with his fifth, scored the winners.

 

Columbia Valley Rockies: (GP: 29 W: 19 L: 7 OTL: 2 SOL: 1) The Rockies maintained their fifth spot with wins over Creston Valley 5-2, and 4-1. Jonah Fournier with his sixth of the season and Colby Phillips on his ninth, scored the winners.
