KIJHL Power Rankings: Week 12

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League finished its 12th week. The KIJHL Power Rankings highlights the top-five teams based on winning percentage and here is how they rank.

 

Osoyoos Coyotes: (GP: 28 W: 21 L: 2 OTL: 2 SOL: 3) The Coyotes returned from the Christmas break and earned back-to-back wins over the Kelowna Chiefs (5-2, 3-2 in OT), then lost 6-5 in OT to Princeton on Jan. 2. Jack Henderson had three goals and five points in that stretch. Kenny Gerow won both his starts.

 

Kamloops Storm: (GP: 25 W: 18 L: 4 OTL: 2 SOL:1) The Storm return to action on Jan. 5.

 

Revelstoke Grizzlies: (GP: 25 W: 17 L: 7 OTL: 1 SOL: ) The Grizzlies hosted the Chiefs on Dec. 31, losing 3-1, then traveled to Chase on Jan. 2 and lost 8-5. Captain Cole Berg had two goals and three points in two games.

 

Kimberley Dynamiters: (GP: 26 W: 17 L: 7 OTL: 0 SOL: 2) The Dynamiters climbed a spot to fourth thanks to a pair of wins over Fernie (6-4 and 7-3). Cash Regan and Christian Mealey each had two goals and six points. Trystan Self earned both wins in goal.

 

Columbia Valley Rockies: (GP: 27 W: 17 L: 7 OTL: 2 SOL: 1) The Rockies return to action today against Creston Valley.
