KIJHL alum make ACHA All-Tournament teams

Earlier this month, the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) announced its men’s Division 1 National Championships All-Tournament Teams.

On the 1st Team All-Tournament team from Adrian College were KIJHL alumni Noah Decottignies (Beaver Valley Nitehawks/Columbia Valley Rockies) and Ethan McLaughlin (Summerland Steam/Nelson Leafs).  Decottignies went 3-1-0 in four games and had a 2.52 goals against average with a .924 save percentage and one shutout. McLaughlin had four assists in four games.

The Honourable Mention All-Tournament team featured Cash Regan (Kimberley Dynamiters) of Adrian College, Jozef Kuchaslo (Revelstoke Grizzlies) and K.T. Walters (North Okanagan Knights) of Drury University, as well as Kaleb Percival (Nitehawks) with the University of Jamestown.

Regan had two goals and two assists in four games, Walters had two goals in three games, Percival had an assist in two games. Kuchaslo went 2-1-0 in three games with a 2.00 GAA, a .938 SP with one shutout.

The ACHA also announced its Men’s Division 1All-Athletic Team today, which featured Brandon Weare (Golden Rockets/Grizzlies). Weare went 23-8-0-2 in 33 games with a 2.27 GAA and a .923 SP with four shutouts. In the playoffs, Weare went 1-1 with a 2.98 GAA and a .912 SP.
