Keenan Ingram (Columbia Valley Rockies), Adam Bourgeois (North Okanagan Knights) and Austin Seibel (North Okanagan Knights) have been selected as the Instat KIJHL 3 Stars of the Week, for the period ending November 20, 2022.
Ingram – Top Forward – The Calgary product had five goals and two assists in two games, helping the Rockies defeat the Castlegar Rebels and the Grand Forks Border Bruins. Against the Rebels, Ingram assisted on the game-winning goal and scored to give the Rockies a 4-1 lead in a 5-1 final. Against the Border Bruins, Ingram netted the winner, then added three more goals for a four-goal performance in a 7-0 win. Ingram now has 17 goals and 28 points in 17 game to lead the Rockies and is fourth overall in the league.
Bourgeois – Top Defenceman – The Fort St. John, B.C. product had a goal and two assists in three games, helping the Knights win all three of their games. He scored the winning goal in a 5-2 final against the Osoyoos Coyotes and he assisted on the tying goal as the Knights defeated the Kamloops Storm 3-2 in a shootout. For the season, Bourgeois has three goals and 10 points in 13 games
Seibel – Top Goalie – The Coldstream, B.C. product earned three victories against Osoyoos, Kamloops and 100 Mile House. Against the Coyotes, Seibel stopped 22 of 24 shots, then 25 of 27 shots against Kamloops and had a 25-save shutout against 100 Mile House. He finished with a combined .947 save percentage and a 1.30 goals against average. Seibel has nine wins with a .925 SP and a 2.72 GAA.
