Lynden Robertson of the Chase Heat has committed to the Logan Lake Miners of the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League to play this fall.
Robertson, 20, completed his second season with the Heat by posting 19 points in 38 regular season games. The Red Deer, Alta., native joined the Heat after playing a season for his hometown Red Deer Vipers in the Heritage Junior Hockey League as an 18-year-old.
In his two seasons with the Heat, Robertson had 49 points in 79 career KIJHL regular season games. He had two assists in four playoff games last season.
Robertson will attend Thompson River University in Kamloops to pursue a degree in Biology.
