The Chase Heat are thrilled to welcome Nick Deschenes as their new Head Coach and General Manager, the team announced on May 27.
“Nick brings a wealth of experience behind the bench, with a strong coaching background in both the BCHL and KIJHL. His deep knowledge of the game and passion for player development make him an incredible addition to our organization,” the Heat said. “We’re excited to have Nick leading the charge as we gear up for a new chapter of Chase Heat hockey.”
Deschenes has coached in Kelowna, Grand Forks, Summerland and Sicamous. Two seasons ago he led the Eagles to a 31-12-1-0 record, good for fifth in the overall regular season standings.
