Nathan White of the Revelstoke Grizzlies has committed to play for Maryville University Saints in the American Collegiate Hockey Association this fall.
White, 20, had 21 points in 29 games for the Grizzlies this season and added 12 points in 16 KIJHL Teck Cup playoffs. In 47 career regular season games with the Grizzlies, the Calgary, Alta., native had 32 points. He also helped Grizzlies capture the Teck Cup and Mowat Cup championships in 2023–24.
“This season was a period of significant growth for me as a player and a teammate,” said White. “I became more confident with the puck and made better decisions under pressure. My playmaking improved, and I really started to see the ice better, which helped me contribute more offensively and defensively.”
White added that he took meaningful steps forward to become a complete player and looks forward to continuing that momentum with the Saints, based in St. Louis, Mo.
“The Grizzlies organization played a huge role in my growth as a player and person,” said White. “The coaching staff pushed me to raise my game every day, providing honest feedback, structure, and support that helped me stay focused and accountable. Their belief in my potential gave me the confidence to take more risks, make mistakes, and learn from them. A strong team culture with teammates who shared the same goals created a motivating and positive environment. The standard has been a huge reason for my individual and the team’s success.”
White began his junior hockey career in the Alberta Junior Hockey League in 2022-23 with the Whitecourt Wolverines and Olds Grizzlys, playing 46 games and collecting five points. He played 69 career games in the AJHL.
