Revelstoke Grizzlies goalie Austin Seibel has committed to play for the Lawrence University Vikings in the NCAA Division 3 next fall.
Seibel returned to the KIJHL with the Grizzlies and went 20-5-0 in 28 games, posting a 2.40 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. The 20-year-old from Coldstream, B.C. led all goalies with five shutouts. He was named the Bill Ohlhausen Division’s Top Goaltender.
Seibel helped the Grizzlies reach the second round of the KIJHL Championships with six wins and one shutout with a .915 SP and a 3.02 GAA.
In 57 career KIJHL games with the Grizzlies and North Okanagan Knights, Seibel won 36 times with a 2.68 GAA and a .927 SP. Seibel also spent two seasons in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League from 2023-25.
