Former Coyote Tuck up for Hobey Baker Award

Former Osoyoos Coyote Braeden Tuck has been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award, announced today.

Tuck is in his sophomore season with the Sacred Heart University Pioneers. He is among six players, including two other Pioneers teammates, chosen from Atlantic Hockey for the award.

According to the Pioneers website, Tuck leads his team in scoring with three goals and eight points. The Calgary, Alta., product has at least a point in six of eight games he has played in this season.

Last season as a Freshman with the Pioneers, Tuck was named Atlantic Hockey’s Rookie of the Year. While with the Coyotes, Tuck was named the KIJHL’s Rookie of the Year in 2015-16.
