Palmer, who plays for the Vancouver Island University Mariners, popped in five goals and had eight points in two games. Those totals make him the B.C. IHL’s points leader.

Last season the Coaldale, Alberta product was named the BCIHL Rookie of the Year when he finished with 10 goals and 18 points in 12 games. He was also named to the First Team All-Stars.
