Jarrod Gale of the Osoyoos Coyotes has signed to play for the Drury University Panthers in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1 next fall.
Gale was second on the Coyotes with 31 points in 34 games and led the team with 16 goals. He registered one assist in four KIJHL Teck Cup playoff games. During the season, Gale’s confidence grew helping him play effectively. It was a career season for Gale offensively, after having six goals and 20 points in 32 games in 2022-23.
“The Osoyoos organization has always been very supportive during my three years and I felt they trusted and believed in me,” he says. “They gave me the opportunity to develop and grow as a hockey player, and more importantly, as a person.”
Gale says that Drury University made a very difficult decision, easy.
“The program and organization is everything I could hope for. I’m very grateful to continue my hockey career at Drury University.”
In 100 career KIJHL regular season games, Gale had 24 goals and 61 points. In 21 career Teck Cup playoff games, the Canmore, Alta., product registered three assists
