Nick Redding Commits Eastern Washington University Hockey
2012-04-16

EWU Hockey is pleased to announce that Nick Redding (Spokane, WA) has committed to EWU for the 2012/13 season.

EWU Hockey is pleased to announce that Nick Redding (Spokane, WA) has committed to EWU for the 2012/13 season. Redding comes to EWU after a four year career with the Spokane Braves in the KIJHL that saw him put up 117 points and 449 PIMs in 196 career games. Redding was the Braves captain and a great leader there. EWU Coach Bill Shaw expects that Redding will be able to come to EWU and contribute in a similar fashion. “Nick has a lot of grit to his game and after last season we decided we needed a few more guys in our lineup with some sand paper. We were just too easy to play against, especially on the road.” Redding’s last season with the Braves saw him put up 50 points in 52 games. EWU struggled to generate offense last season and they are hopeful the addition of Redding will help there as well.
